RALEIGH, N.C. -- U.S. Senate candidate Erskine Bowles urged his supporters Monday to work hard in the campaign's final hours to bring him victory in the Democratic primary.
With former Gov. Jim Hunt by his side, Bowles told fellow Democrats he needed their help to get out the vote Tuesday, completing a primary season that extended a year due to protracted redistricting litigation.

On the Republican side - gotta go with Snyder in the primary. But Liddy will win, and then it will be a decision to hold your nose and pull the lever for her, or risk the Democrats taking another Senate seat. Wish the national party hadn't anointed her over and above the opinion of the natives. What an uninspiring race, a Clinton clown versus a RINO who has flipped on two issues re: gun control.

It'd be funny if it turned out to be Marshall vs. Snyder come November.

Yes it would. It would be even funnier if only one of the nationally selected candidates prevailed in the primary and was severely trounced in the election. At this point I don't care which one.

BTW, does anyone know what the deal is with Pendley & Calabria and why Cobe is pushing Calabria?

Should Dole win tomorrow, my vote won't go to either her or Bowles in November.
I don't believe in the either/or game. There's always the free choice to not pick one bad candidate over a worse one.
