Wonderful. I swell with pride with the shots of our good fighting forces, sigh with the shots of the pro-terrorists and nearly shed a tear with the pain that Israel has, and continues to suffer....

Thanks a million for the posting, which is, as always, excellent! My personal favorites today are the pictures of the flight deck preparation of some oversized suppositories, and the one showing pro-Al Qaeda vermin perambulating in Pakistan. Now, if we could just get those two elements together somehow...

In Kabul, moving to sell her baked bread. It's sad to see these women back in burqas. I know that some never stopped wearing them but many have been forced back into them by threats of violence.

Looks like the GW is at a dead stop... in the Persian Gulf yet. The navy is getting cocky.

BADASS IN DOCKERSA U.S. Special Forces bodyguard assigned to protect Afghan President Hamid Karzai speaks with colleagues after an assasination attempt on Karzai Thursday Sept. 5, 2002 in Kandahar. The attack occurred as the convoy carrying Karzai and Kandahar Gov. Gul Agha Sherzai was leaving the governor's mansion. Sherzai, who was grazed in the neck, was released after being treated at the U.S. air base in Kandahar. Karzai survived unhurt. (AP Photo/Ed Wray)

What does the tattoo mean?FROM IRAQ:
"In my country, it used to be said that tattoos make women more beautiful. Therefore, over the last decade, tattoos became the most famous fad among women in Iraq. Often girls, before their wedding eve, went to get their hands and faces covered with tattoos. But recently this custom stopped. Nowadays they prefer to use temporary tattoos instead on permanent ones. They use henna designs which last about three weeks. They believe that this kind of tattoo looks more beautiful and they can change the design at any time."
Sounds like Iraqi women have become smarter than our own.

This is a picture taken in the shouk, the outdoor open air market in downtown Jerusalem. It is very crowded on Friday afternoons as people get ready for Shabbat dinner. This is ground zero for terrorists, target number one.
