Sustainable Development One American's Perspective

The third world hates Americans because we have made the best use of our resources and have become very well off because of that. Yes we have electricity and running water and air conditioned homes and to the third world I must tell you that it is indeed very nice. And you should have the same stuff.

But I am tired of sharing my good fortune with people who have squandered opportunity after opportunity to develop their own resources. I am tired of sharing with countrys that have restricted development because of ongoing barbaristic tribal wars. I am tired of using frivolous environmental laws to restrict your ability to create wealth. I am tired of countries blaming colonialism for their problems.

Now those poor countries think they can EXTORT America into giving up our lifestyle because of the environment. It isn't my fault you poor 3rd worlders are growing up in a desert with no water. You have had many opportunities to bring water to your area. But you would rather battle the next village over the grazing of goats, while we in America have built some of the greatest dams and irrigation systems in the world because America knows how to cooperate and gain the best of the natural resources available.

Now the sissy 3rd world thinks America should not have the best of everything because "they" (3rd world) can't handle the responsibility of developing into a true civilization. Thank your dictators for keeping you down in subservience. Ask your Dictators where all the Billions of Dollars of Aid to help you develop has gone. Ask your dictators why the developed world no longer sends engineers and teachers to your country.

The one thing that will help a country develop is stability. Stability of the people. Stability of the Government. Stability is the one thing that America has been proud to have, and the single largest reason WHY we have the things we have. Yet you 3rd world countries seek to destabilize America in the name of the environment. We have tried to help you ALL in the past. Given you money and teachers and food. Perhaps that is the failure of American foreign policy?

Giving to the ungrateful only creates more greed. Giving you food does not motivate you to find your own way to grow food. Giving you teachers does not motivate you to nurture new teachers. Well I for one am tired of giving to the ungrateful who complain we have too much. I am tired of giving to the unmotivated. I am tired of giving to Dictators who have stolen what should have been taken to the people and become rich. The essence of the greed you dispise is right under your noses. But you fail to see because your so called leaders have diverted your attention away from their lifestyle with wars and conflicts. You cannot blame our generosity. You can blame your socialist leaders because our generosity has not reached those who need assistance the most.

America has only existed since it's discovery in the 1400's. The rise of America really did not start till the 1800's however. So in less than 200 years America has prospered. Yet most, if not all of the countrys who are complaining about the wealth of America have been around 2000 years, especially the African and Middle Eastern nations.

What happened to you? You have had many times the years and chances to develop and become world leaders. Yet you somehow have squandered opportunity after opportunity, while we in America have cooperated and pooled our resources (also known as Capitalism) to become the envy of those who cannot manage what God has given them.

Do not Blame America for your lost opportunitys oh 3rd world. It is you that have failed, and it is not up to America to reward your failures. You have been given much from America only because we are a caring nation. But since you are revealing your true motives oh 3rd world, perhaps we should quit caring and you will have to re-learn your will to survive. It's do or die. We are the dooers. You appear to be the do nothings in our eyes.

You can also thank the UN for your problems. They constantly interfere with the ability of sovergn nations to determine their own destiny. They attempt to sequester vital natural resources that could be used to create wealth and place those resources out of your reach. Now I hope you realize, oh 3rd world, that whoever controls those resources also controls your destiny. Whoever controls YOUR resources will eventually profit from them, and reap the excesses. That money will never reimburse you to the extent you have sacrificed. Flawed environmental policy in America, based on UN guidelines has allowed tens of millions of acres of forest to burn out of control because they do not want one dime of profit to be derived from those forests. How can that be considered good for the environment? You will gain NO benefit from the charred ashes, that properly managed could have still had considerable environmental benefits as well as benefits toward mankind. Some of the profit earned from private enterprise has been sent to you to assist you with medicine and food and other aid. Do you not realize that if we do not develop our resources and expand our wealth, our assistance to you will be in jeopardy because we will eventually have nothing to give?

If you want what I have you either have to earn it, or take it over my dead body you 3rd world nations. And America should pull out of the UN. Since the UN seems to stand for UNITED NOTHINGS" we cannot associate with losers anymore. You can once again be on your own. We will not bother you. We wish you well. Good luck.
