Anyone up for countering these bums? I found a copy of this ultra-leftist rag with the headline "Sept. 11th Peace Events" on the cover. This item was listed, along with several other "events" in the Bay Area. First, these people march in a July 4th parade, now, they and their comrades want to hijack a day which 3,000 innocent people were murdered, so they can vent their hatred of this nation. I cannot stand it nor can I tolerate it! My wife and I returned a month ago from a visit to the DC area and New York City. Being hit with the reality there has fired up my passions even more. Anyone who is interested in Freeping these people, let me know.

Can not make it to the Bayare 9-11. Please allow this observation however: Are these folks really traitors or are they merely craven cowards. Perhaps they have concluded that the more they take the side of our enemies, the less likely they will be chosen as a taret for terrorism.

These folks are leftover hippies. They have no real clue of the world and think every other nation simply wants peace.

This is truly sick stuff (and typical for the Bay Area), but I don't want to taint my remembrance of 9/11 by being anywhere near these people. I plan on heading to the KSFO flag unfurling in Alameda. You may want to do the same?

Give these scumbags hell! I'm very glad to live in northern Michigan where but a few exceptions these freaks don't live. Sometimes I wonder why otherwise decent people live in such parts of the country but I am glad that yo do so the traitors don't completely take over areas.

Ha! They'll be lucky if 20 people show up, even here in Marin.

I would go to Alameda, but I have to work that day. My wife and I are going to an event in our town that night. I personally think we have to stand up to these people and let them and the rest of the Bay Area know that there are more of us than them. Maybe it's just me, but I'm here listening to Savage and hearing how all these leftists are throwing the flag and patriotism out at UC Berzerkeley and I'm getting angry and wondering what the hell's happened to my nation. We need to take the stand against these people that it seems we didn't take back in the sixties. That's just my opinion. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, maybe in a year, we will be moving out of this politcally perverted area.

I listened to Savage today too and the Berzerkeley episode really is sickening. I also agree that you have to stand up to these people. I send tons of irate letters to the Chronicle (I've posted a few here recently) and occasionally they print one! Plus, living in SF, I encounter libs all the time and make a point of countering their ignorance and disrespect. So I do believe in challenging liberals, especially on their home turf. I just don't want to do it on 9/11/02. And I too hope to move within the year. Good luck to us both!

Also, though not mentioned in the Bay Guardian's list - Wed. 9/11 KSFO flag event in Alameda..
Also, Union Square, San Francisco at noon 9/11 - Police and Firefighters ceremony.

Okay, I found the San Francisco forum---thanks for the directions! Also, I guess my pings have been working afterall.

As far as 9/11/02, I'm still doing some last minute decision making. It's either Alameda, Union Square or freeping someone. How about going to UC Berkeley with flags and "jingoistic" patriotism in tow? Whatever the case, I'll have to figure it out within two days...
