Oh God! That is the worst image to pop into my head in ages. She is a cow - and ugly to boot. Not to get personal, but sometimes with pro-abort people their evilness comes to the surface. With this bitch it sure does.

I just can't believe PA is going to elect a Philly democRAT.

It's not really surprising. Combine growing urban areas with proximity to the N. East liberals and you get a left-ward (dimocrat) leanning electorate. Same thing happened in NJ. Only RINO's get elected to the top offices there. And the abortion crowd is getting very sophisticated in their methods. Like targeting State governors who in and of themselves have little to no DIRECT influence on Roe V Wade, but they are yet in a position to appoint conservative justices who could rise in the ranks to the appellate and Supreme courts. This, the abortion crowd and their fellow leftists understand, is the holy grail -- interpreting the law.

Hopefully the GOP in the state offices will blockade everything Rendell wants to do. He could ruin us for sure.

>> What a pro-abort .....! I still recall the day in 1990 when she was running for gov and came to pitt to campaign with the femi-nazis for pro-abortion rights <<

A "Republican" state treasurer who's ultra-left on social issues (especially abortion!), an apologist for corrupt scumbag Democrats, and betrays the nominees of her own party. Interesting.

I think this Hafer must have a long lost twin sister...

No surprise. Anybody who sees nothing wrong with murdering babies in the womb can't be expected to have any loyalties or principals.

The suburban RINO's (where, admittedly I am from) are the reason that Clinton and Gore won the state in the 92, 96 and 00 elections.

Bucks and Montgomery counties both went to Gore in '00, but not by a huge margin (Bucks was very close, I believe). The bigger factor was, is and always will be the Philadelphia Vote Fraud Machine.

If it can be shut down, Pennsylvania can be saved. If not, it's just another extention of New England, like New York and New Jersey have become.

Until we see an actual pol that puts Fisher within 6, I'll believe this quote from the article: Democrat Ed Rendell, the former Philadelphia mayor, holds a double-digit lead in most polls over Republican Mike Fisher, the state attorney general.

Rendell does hold a double-digit lead in most polls. So? Fisher just started advertising, and we just hit Labor Day. Should I tell you that Reno held a double-digit lead over McBride a few weeks ago? Or Jeb Bush held a double-digit lead over them both a few weeks ago? :-)

You said Fisher didn't have a chance at winning. I say he does, though of course I give Rendell an advantage.

fisher still has a chance of beating rendell - even with this turncoat wench supporting "america's mayor."

Until I see a poll of the race tightening, I'll believe otherwise.

BUT - this should get the pro-lifers out LIKE NOTHING HAS BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having Bush run against Gore wasn't enough to motivate them? Besides, the announcement likely won't focus on abortion.

And hafer is a lib anyway, who does not have that much support here in Allegheny County anymore. It does not matter if she lives to be 1,000 - you can write her political obit now. What next - run against Roddey next year in primary for Allegheny County Executive?

I don't think Rendell cares about using her for a geographic reason. She's a woman Republican for Rendell. That's how he'll use her.

The suburban RINO's are Philly Transplants and aka Soccer Moms

As for winning big .. I'm still holding out hope that the rest of the State will take that dream away from Rendal a second time

It's Labor Day-- the perfect time for a surge (like the McBride one). I haven't seen any indication that Fisher is surging. The Hersey deal has really put holes in his foot, as well.

Montgomery County use to be big time Republican until the housing boom .. and you're right about the Philly voter fraud machine ..

If it wasn't for Philly .. Pennsylvania would have gone for Bush

Hafer has always been a liberal Democrat. Pennsylanvia Republicans should have realized that long ago. Party leadership in PA should have done something to oust her before it ever came to this.

Know the positions and the records of those we vote for and we can avoid this altogether.

And if you're Pro-Life, always vote Pro-Life. Always.

I don't see her endorsement effecting the election one way or the other.

This is most troubling as this trend is not being countered anywhere else. There is no Republican swing going on anywhere to counter the loss of PA.

Tell me about it... my family's from Willow Grove and Glenside. Like most of the Republicans, they were "inspired" to relocate back in the early 80's.

Really? I though it was when we were all supposed to start paying attention. :-)

I haven't seen any indication that Fisher is surging.

Me neither. But I also haven't seen a poll since 6 Aug.
