Until we see an actual pol that puts Fisher within 6, I'll believe this quote from the article: Democrat Ed Rendell, the former Philadelphia mayor, holds a double-digit lead in most polls over Republican Mike Fisher, the state attorney general. Rendell does hold a double-digit lead in most polls. So? Fisher just started advertising, and we just hit Labor Day. Should I tell you that Reno held a double-digit lead over McBride a few weeks ago? Or Jeb Bush held a double-digit lead over them both a few weeks ago? :-)
You said Fisher didn't have a chance at winning. I say he does, though of course I give Rendell an advantage.

It's Labor Day-- the perfect time for a surge (like the McBride one). I haven't seen any indication that Fisher is surging. The Hersey deal has really put holes in his foot, as well.

I've just started seeing Fisher ads. I'll tell you what, I'm not very impressed.
