Want to tell us how to run our business? Fine. We run it the way we want to. No matter WHAT you tell us.
(Ran a search and didn't see it. So what? Needs to be posted a few times anyway.)

By the way, I know there is not an apostrophe in Masters. Sorry for the goof.

Perhaps the Masters should host a Golf Tournament at the links of Wellesley College (ALL GIRLS / Hillary's Alma Pater).

Looks like Hootie whipped out the Flame Thrower when the NCWO threatened him with the "bayonet".
I wonder what Tiger will have to say now?
Not that I care.

I applaud this decision by Augusta National. The PC crowd can go fly a kite.

Just imagine if EVERY private organization in America said "NO!" to these PC demands. No, that is literally unthinkable these days...

Nice stand against the PC bullies.

Johnson has said the club has no exclusionary policies, althoughit has never had a female member its 69-year history, and onlywelcomed its first black member in 1990.Of course you have an exclusionary policy.
Admitting it and carrying on is the honest
thing to do. To try denying the obvious
insults the intelligence of everyone involved,
and makes it look like truth is excluded, too.

Hooray for Augusta National and Hooray for Hootie. Let's hope this is the start of a trend of businesses telling the PC crowd to go pound sand. I love it. Woo Hoo!

God bless Duffers and Hackers alike you go boys !!!!

It takes courage to tell the NOW NAGs to go and mind their own goddamned business. You have feminazis with too much time on their hands trying to ruin another great American institution. I hope the Augusta Masters just keeps on playing great guys' golf the old-fashioned way!!!

CocaCola and IBM issued short, gracious statements, but
Citigroup declined comment.

See nothing wrong with having a club that only admits one sex. Traditional cultures had societies and lodges that also admitted one sex only. No one seems to criticize them. Sometimes a little segregation is healthy.

Augusta National will not be "bullied, threatened or intimidated"Beautiful. Just beautiful.

"Want to tell us how to run our business? Fine. We run it the way we want to. No matter WHAT you tell us."About damned time *someone* stepped up to the plate & told these whack-jobs where to stuff it.
Be nice if Target (Dayton-Hudson) learned this tactic, too.
Aside from that, though.
I'm sure this could be viewed as "opportunity knocking" for a group of rich old birds to get together, pool their loot, & start their own "Augusta National" club to cater to women only.
That would be the smart thing for the loud mouthed old bag to be thinking about.
...but *equal* opportunity's really not what's eating at this old crow either, huh.

This is so great, now why don't we file a civil suit against the government for funding organizations that use our tax money to bully private clubs, organizations whose stupid ideas do not fly with the majority of Americans?
Why is our money wrenched from our pockets to support enemies of our culture? Enemies who attack private ownership, the will of the majority, the Constitution should find no money to sustain their loopy ideas at tax payers expense.
