H&C talk trash
The Balance Sheet caught up with FNC's debate team, Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes. Seems their debating doesn't stop when the show is over.
Alan Colmes: Our show is basically about liberals, how correct they are, how compassionate they are. They're correct on the issues.
Sean Hannity: Is this a joke?
Colmes: Gore did win the popular vote, Gore won the popular vote, there are more people on the left than you would like to admit.
Hannity: Three words GET OVER IT!
Colmes: I'm over it, I'm over it.
Hannity: You're obviously not over it.
Colmes: I'm looking at '04
Hannity: Listen, do me a favor, for the benefit of the country, put Al Gore up in '04 because I know he'll lose again.
Colmes: I think George W. Bush has a good chance to be elected President for the first time...one thing we can agree on, both sides should be heard.
Hannity: I'm very confident and I read the e-mail Alan, a lot of people agree with me.
Colmes: People agree with me too, our viewers span the gamut from left to right.
Hannity: I have an appreciation for the fact that you passionately believe in what you're saying. The problem is, I think, and I say this respectfully, you're wrong. But I'm confident that my views will win the day...I have no doubt that I am going to Hannitize the world, but it's going to take an entire lifetime.
Colmes: Is that your goal? You're going to change everybody to your point of view, that's what you want? I celebrate diversity as a liberal, I want there to be diversity in America.
Hannity: So you want more Republicans elected. Is that what you're saying?
Colmes: No, but I'm a realist, I accept the fact that you people will always be around.
