This was the best speech that I ever heard President Bush give. He made the speech using only notes and was fantastic!

This Bush Republican is glad to support the strong group of Republican conservative candidates we have in this Fall's election and appreciate President Bush coming into Oklahoma today to raise money for their campaigns.

Will be my first time working in a Congressional campaign in a contested race. Before I have always lived in solidly Republican Congressional Districts. The people from the Cole Campaign are some of the nicest and most efficient people I have ever been around.

To be at the Cole Watch Party Tuesday night and see the margin of victory was a thrill for myself and my daughter who voted for the first time Tuesday. J.C. Watts told her that she had better keep up the trend in voting for the right people. Cong Watts spent about 10 minutes talking to my daughter about her choice to go into journalism! We are going to miss J.C. here in the 4th, but with a lot of effort we are going to see Tom Cole replace him as the next 4th District Congressman!

VOTE REPUBLICAN IN NOV 2002
LARGENT FOR GOVERNOR
JAMES INHOFE FOR SENATOR
TOM COLE FOR 4TH DISTRICT CONGRESSMAN

Great speech by our President! Brit Hume showed a snippet from the speech and he looked and sounded wonderful. Tanned, relaxed, sincere. Looks about 10 years younger than just before he went to Crawford. I have great faith in this man and I thank God every single day for him.

Thanks! All I saw today was Cheney, and I am glad to see that the President was out and helping Largen and Inhofe!

Great speech! Thanks for posting it!

He looked great today -- Crawford did wonders for him. Best speech I have heard him give in a long time -- relaxed, connected with the people in the audience -- and when he to to the judges you could hear him talking to the daschle/clinton democRATS! It was great!

I say no more teleprompters ever -- talk from notes and he is great!

Hey, PKM ! Thanks for the ping to this. I've been busy with other stuff and just came over here and saw your ping.

President Bush says Thanks for inviting me. Galaxies away from the attitude of the previous Admin, wouldn't you say?

I'm bumping to come back to this in the morning. I wouldn't want to miss this one that you have so highly recommended!

Good report, partner! He looked great today, perhaps due to being surrounded by Largent, Inhofe, Nickles, J.C., Cole, and the wonderful people of Oklahoma!

I agree about the teleprompter; he does much better with notes.

it's important to have senators and members of the House who understand the need for this nation to be steady and resolved and determined, and honest about the difference between good and evil.

Well, much of Congress needs a remedial education on that point.

Y'know, after reading this I notice there are a couple of people conspicuous by their absence, and a couple of people the President DIDN'T mention.

At the Cole Watch Party on Tuesday night she was able to talk to Cong Watts for about 10 minutes. He was very encouraging about her going into Journalism and talked to her about going to a Conservative Institute for young Journalists.

BTW -- Boomer Sooner! Wasn't pretty but we got the win, a shutout and found a running game!
