OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- NFL star-turned-congressman Steve Largent took a step toward Oklahoma's highest office Tuesday, easily winning the Republican primary in the race to succeed Gov. Frank Keating, who is being forced from office by term limits.
The Democratic primary was headed to a runoff between a millionaire businessman and a state legislator.
