San Francisco civic leaders unveiled an anti-hate poster campaign Monday, calling for an atmosphere of racial tolerance on the eve of the anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

The posters, which depict two men and two women of Southeast Asian or Middle Eastern descent, are punctuated with a rainbow of color and read, "We are not the enemy. We are your community."

Oops---I just posted this myself but they deleted it. Anyway, I live in this liberal hell hole and I'm so angry about this forced love-fest. These people are obsessed with all the supposed impending "hate crimes" out there. That's what 9/11 means to them---protecting their precious Muslims. I for one will not be attending any events in SF on 9/11. If they're anything like the last one I attended, they'll open with a Muslim call to prayer. HEELLPP!

"San Francisco is not going to tolerate hate."

Why not? They tolerate just about everything else.

"The one thing San Francisco will not tolerate is intolerance," the district attorney said.

He went on to say that this does not include conservative view points of any kind.

"We are not the enemy. We are your community."

Picture Jack Nicholson, portraying the smiling, but nervous U.S. President, saying this in the movie, Mars Attacks, right before he gets skewered by the alien leader.

I have seen the enemy and they are US! --Pogo

Anyway, every 9/11 terrorist was a hate-filled neighbor in some American Community.

I think it is time to start a know your enemy campaign.

It is time to be intolerant of those who wish us to forgive and forget.

The enemy is any person who has not denounced the killers of 9-11, who do not denounce the atrocity, it is not a tragedy of 9-11, the enemy is anyone who says we must understand why they did it.

I have to only understand how to eliminate the rabid dogs from this earth and ensure they don't receive their promised paradise.

The ashes at Ground Zero weren't even cold yet when the Kumbaya Brigade came out to lecture all of us on the virtues of tolerance. Frankly, I'm getting a little tired of them. The lesson of September 11th is "Never let our enemies attack us again." These P.C. idiots are trying to make us forget that.

I hope that I don't get flamed for this, but I don't want to see people get hurt on that day just because they look Arab. I am angry about what the terrorists did. I am also angry about how the politicians knee jerked us into giving up so many freedoms. However, I know that most Arabs in our country are not here to hurt us. I hope that people don't go out on a quest to punish innocent people because of how they look. That would not be America. I think that's what the ad was saying.

I hate San Francisco.
Anybody who deliberately takes children into that place should be thrown in jail for child abuse.
What a filthy, infected sewer.

I think that's what the ad was saying.

No, what the ad is saying is:
"Hey all you ignorant cretins - - do not attack strangers because of their appearance."

This ad is directed at the citizens of San Francisco as if they are too stupid to know any better. The ad is an insult - - a slap in the face to anybody who reads it. See, the people who dreamed up this campaign and posted the ad are the smart and beautiful San Francisco elite and they feel that they simply must tell the lowly civilians how to mind their manners and behave properly.

San Francisco. What a disgusting sewer.
I hate San Francisco.

"With war heating up in the Middle East, we're launching a pre-emptive strike against any backlash against people of color, Arab Americans and Muslims," District Attorney Terence Hallinan said at a news conference on the steps of the Hall of Justice.

To the average liberal there's no enemy on this planet more worthy of contempt than the average, upstanding American person.

I'm in the mood to return the sentiment.

"With war heating up in the Middle East, we're launching a pre-emptive strike against any backlash against people of color, Arab Americans and Muslims," District Attorney Terence Hallinan said at a news conference on the steps of the Hall of Justice.

Don't worry Mr. Hallinan, if Americans were predisposed to do this sort of thing the majority of the mosques in America would already be burned-out hulks and various "citizen's militias" would be holding lots of Muslims hostage, with an occasional filmed beheading just so people didn't lose interest.

Let me advance a scenario for you to test your "tolerance level".

Militant Muslims deplore homosexuality as well as women who refuse to be subservient to males. If a group of Islamists from Berkeley decided to release Sarin gas in gay bathhouses and dance clubs in the Castro District, or target feminists for gang rape in order to make a political point about the decadence of Western Culture, what would you consider to be an appropriate reaction?

Maybe a serious "time out", a chance for the affected groups to pledge to be more understanding of their differences and a big group hug?

When I first saw the posters on a MUNI bus with the rainbow in the background, I thought it was just another gay thing. I wonder how the Muslims in the pics felt about having their faces placed atop the international symbol for sodomy.
