Amen! Matthews is a liberal who wants to pretend he is 'one of the guys',(blue collar) he is not. Remember, Matthews worked for Tip O'Neill. Matthews is a very liberal populist Dem. He has some honesty, so Clinton made him squirm, but he's just a slicker version of Tip O'Neill.

Exactly correct!

Matthews is nothing but a 'NorthEast' Liberal and you do not get much more liberal then that!

"Any wagers that X42 will be neck 'n neck with Donahue should he take the See BS spot?

Did you hear the exchange between Donahue and Calypso Louie on Rush yesterday? Both men are just plain loony...the old word "jackanapes" fits both well. I wouldn't waste more time than it took to change channels on Donahue, truly a wasted old man who hasn't a clue as to the real world and the reality of what is happening today in our War on Terror. As a matter of fact too many people fail to realize we are at War both here and abroad.

Putting Bill Clinton on will seal the death of MSNBC and Clinton!

Greta had Ozzy Osbourne for a full hour last Friday night, and it was a GREAT interview. That's the reason for her 0.7 number.

No, I am not referring to The Rutles at all. That was a brilliant TV special that sprung from an SNL sketch (I still own the album, which is actually quite good). I don't recall Al Franken having anything to do with it (though there was alot of cameos.)

His series was called "Lateline" (I think) and was supposed to be a parody of "Nightline." It lasted four episodes, and set a record for the lowest ratings in it's time slot ever.

Haven't seen nor heard from Phil since he called me to solicit votes for Ralph Nader. He wouldn't listen to a word I said, so I hung up on him.

I watched the show that night. Phil looked confused and desperate, Farakhan looked shocked at the stupidity of the questions.

Thanks, you put into words exactly what I was thinking as I watched that segment. (You are stronger than I, I had to turn it off... I couldn't take any more.)

The Rutles were an off-shoot of Monty Python in the mid 70's. I think a couple of the guys appeared on SNL though:

I'll tell you why Larry King is beating Hannity and Colmes....COLMES.....He's so creepy looking that I CANNOT watch the show as much as I LOVE Sean Hannity.....If they got someone not as HIDEOUS as Colmes, I would watch. Trut be told, I can watch Carvile EASIER than Colmes....God forgive me.

PARTY!!! PARTY!!!

Let's all dance on his TV grave.

I can't believe anyone watches this show unless a gun is put to their head. He *so much* force feeds his views, he asks such LONG leading questions, and his voice is SO annoying. he's like the male answer to Connie Chung.

LOL, hahahahah, lol!!! I'm not surprised. I've never watched DonnaWho once. I watched enough filth and ignorance in the White House for 8 years during X42 and her husband's stay there. I'll not watch more of it from one of their worshipers.

You're right. I looked up Al Franken on IMDB just after reading you're first post and it listed The Rutles as one of his credits, but I just looked again and it was a cameo. I was mistaken.

I'm wondering if the executive who created this abberation will be required to give back his/her compensation.

Before or after the are fired? Seriously. Why keep any of the decision makers at MSNBC? They have taken a moderatly successful channel and run it into the ground.

TNN went from country music to showing re-runs of Star Trek and wrestling. Maybe it is time for MSNBC to change formats.
