Democrat Carol Roberts, who famously declared she'd go to jail to ensure a recount of Palm Beach County's 2000 presidential ballots, is encouraging seniors to flout prescription drug laws as she tries to unseat U.S. Rep. Clay Shaw, R-Fort Lauderdale.....
Such purchases are illegal, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration says. Roberts didn't know about the law, her campaign said Thursday. But she's continuing with her hot line anyway.

Do we need more people in Congress that break the the laws? This one is openly breaking the law to get there.

"Roberts didn't know about the law..."
But, she's running for office...
Ann Coulter is sooo right - liberals are such idiots, (but thier constituents are morons, so they think the idiots are brilliant).

She doesn't ever care what the law is. One of her big concerns has been trying to make everyone that has a non-native tree or plant on their property have to replace them.She has shown that she is incapable of understanding even simple local issues and does no research before going off on one of her extreme ideas.Anyone who watch her during the recount can understand the woman is a nut.

?????????
Can someone provide a rational explanation?
Not "because it's against the law";
I mean a real rational explanation.
Not to sell them mind you; just to buy them.

I am not sure what your question is? I am not debating buying scripts from Canada, but to help people to break the law as a campaign issue is strange. Don't we elect people to Congress to change laws if they are bad? Her not caring about the law here or during the 2000 election tell me she doesn't care. I can't buy half of the medicine I need each month but still will not for a second think of voting for her. Clay Shaw is concerned about this issue and has a record in Congress of working for many issues important to all of us in Florida in a thoughtful legal way.

Could the reason some drugs are cheeper in Canukistan be that
1. The socialist have driven down the cannadian dollar by half?
2. Having a British tort system, they don't have the leagal bills to pay as we do to the democrat trial lawyers?
3. Some drugs aren't availible at anyprice in Cannada.
