Thanks for sharing....
Cheers, CC :-p

Notify the TWA 800 crowd -- they'll assume this is true and start ranting immediately.
To: vikingchick
Nonsense. I distinctly remember seeing Leonardo and Kate skipping over the chunks of iceberg laying on the deck.

Ted Kennedy sunk it with a Lincoln, or was it a Buick?

The titanic went down in 1912 - two years before WW I - there is no way that a german sub sunk the titanic. Okay, everyone, don your tin foil hats.

Forget the U-boat. I think that it was that other paragon of journalistic excellence, the Weekly World News, which printed the story of the skeleton clad in KKK robes found wearing a Titanic lifering. Has anyone looked into the possibility that the NAACP was involved?

This sounds like a Clive Cussler novel. And just as fictional.

I happen to know that it was piracy gone wrong. Stop and think about all of the rich people who were on the TITANIC and what a haul you would make by pillaging it.
The Sinatra movie was just slightly modified to protect the Germans.

The bastards got the Edmund Fitzgerald, too.

Nonsense.
Why would a submarine (in peacetime!) be submerged in the middle of an ice-field ... That early in the century, the boats could only stay down for a few hours at most .. and ran usually on the surface.
To: vikingchick
German Sub Sank the Titanic! Same thing happened to flight 800.
To: vikingchick
Hmmmm. Now I'm starting to think this article is true. :)

"Look over there, don't you see it? It's some kind of
strange boat...Oh, wait, it's just a dumb, stupid movie, nevermind".
To: vikingchick
Everybody knows the Jews sank the Titanic......Iceberg, Goldberg, Greenberg, what’s the difference?
To: vikingchick
That's okay. The Hindenburg was actually brought down by the U.S. secretly testing their anti-aircraft missiles.
So we are sort of even.
