They why didn't Westerfield get on the stand and provide testimony to that effect? If that's all it would take to convince you he was innocent why didn't he do it for this jury? I'm not in the least convinced that he's innocent. I just want to make certain that there'e logical evidence to convict him. I do not see it.

The point is that YOU were not a part of the jury, so have nothing to back up your claim, except what you saw on TV.
The jury, on the other hand, was privy to all of the evidence, and came to the proper verdict.
