SACRAMENTO - After jettisoning campaign staff to free up money, Republican Bill Simon and his campaign for governor are going back on the offensive today by airing a new attack ad on Gov. Gray Davis' environmental record.
Simon senior strategist Sal Russo said the ad, Simon's first in two months, marks the start of the GOP candidate's fall advertising air war.
