The Asian Nazi's have gone far too long without being held accountable for any of their horrible crimes against humanity. The Japanese government to this day denies the
massacre at Nanking ever took place. Over 300,000 Chinese were brutally murdered, mutilated and buried in mass graves.

I agree the Japs did bad things and were generally more sadistic than the Germans about doing them. That being said if your supply lines are cut I think cannibalizing enemy dead is perfectly sensible.

They (the Japanese) weren't animals. That is too good a name for them. They were monsters. And to day, they are prosperous, happy, produce great cars and electronics and are the nicest folks you ever saw. Who says nukes don't work?

The veterans admit that they were incensed by the knowledge that the Japanese had resorted to be eating Australian dead. . .
But they really got P.O'd when they overheard the diners say "MMM. . . Tase ah just like ah chicken!"

The Asian Nazi's have gone far too long without being held accountable Over 50 years, I suggest you get a life. There is plenty to be mad enough in the modern world, that you can safely forget about your granddaddys problems.

You can fault the Japanese (severely) for the rape of Nanking. Eating dead bodies when there was nothing else TO eat is much more problematical. They say dying of hunger is not pleasant.

Speaking of cannabalism, I am surprised nobody's brought up the immortal Alfred Packer.
Packer backer
The legend was that Judge Melville B. Gerry, on pronouncing sentencing said... "...There was siven Dimmycrats in Hinsdale County! But you, yah voracious, main-eatin son of a bitch, yah et five of them, therefor I sentence ye T' be hanged by the neck until y're dead, dead, dead!". This was not the exact statement made by the judge, but it's gone down in Packer folklore. :)
Yarddog: but I have read enough accounts of Japanese canabalism including killing american pilots in order to eat them, that I have no doubt they did it mainly due to perverted nature.
There are certainly accounts of Japanese eating prisoners when other food was available.

My uncle served on the USS Thresher as Chief Petty Officer( WWII ) and told a story of sinking a Japanese supply boat in the harbor of one of the smaller S. Pacific Islands. They brought the sub up a mile from the beach and allowed the sailors to come up to survey the carnage. He said there were hundreds of japs on the beach that looked like halocaust camp victims. Nothing but skin and bones. The sinking of that ship insured they would all starve to death. War is hell.
I have no sympathy for the Japanese. To this day they have not educated their generations about what really happened in WWII. The average middle aged Japanese knows nothing of the atrocities committed by their fathers and grandfathers.
