The general consensus is that the Simon campaign is finished. My feeling is that there are still a few weeks left to gather some momentum. Davis is hardly an attractive candidate.
Are there any debates scheduled? That could be critical.

It's like that old scoreboard use to read outside the Coliseum in Rome -
LIONS 42 - CHRISTIANS 0
Mr. Simon is awfully long on Christians (no pun intended)

Yes, it could be critical....and would only bury Simon deeper. On the very, very, very rare occasions he strays from script he stumbles, stammers, avoids answering direct questions and looks exactly like a frightened child. Generally, he's completely inept in such situations. How sad we ended up with him as our candidate here. People CAN'T STAND DAVIS and he's going to win because Simon is such a dud. Should have been a cakewalk to take back CA.

This is just so disheartening. The party leaders in California are so disorganized, and he is just too nice to fight back against the evil Davis machine and all of his millions.
Isn't it amazing how Davis is the one with all of the money, but the RATS are for the little guy! How gullible are the citizens out there?
I am so disappointed in this campaign! We so need to get rid of Davis, he is bankrupting this state!
