Storm the treasury?? My Lord, I thought I had seen it all. And what is this 310 years of slavery. Let's see, the Civil War ended in 1865 and the slaves were freed so if we go back 310 years that puts us to 1555,,were there slaves then. I mean did Columbus bring them over? We didn't even have a country till 1776 or thereabouts. The man can't subtract. Lets give him directions to the local bankand let him knock it off and tell him he hit the jackpot. And land? May I suggest a big ole piece of a desert out west. My husband actually favors reparations, but with the provision that we never hear any accusations of racism again, no quotas, no affirmative action, etc. Then we can all relax and see what they do with the reparations.

Lets give him directions to the local bankand let him knock it off and tell him he hit the jackpot.I'll agree, provided we arm all the tellers. I got to say, this "reparations" theft thing does get me fired up a bit. I don't even want to go back to the great society years, but I know plenty of people that can tell plenty about happened in their neighborhoods in the 60's due to militants. I don't suspect that they'll sit still for it again.

No, first slaves were landed in Jamestown in 1619. The irony of that is they were indentured servants until one of those identured servants sued in the Kings Court in South Hampton County, VA to make one of his black servants a servant for life. Thus the perpetual African Slave was born in 1659. All done by a black man.

Then we can all relax and see what they do with the reparations.I've seen a sample of what is done with "reparations". The local indian tribe was paid $40 million cash instead of having some contaminated land on the reservation cleaned up. Supposedly, they would take responsibility for cleaning it up with the cash settlement. What actually happened? The money was paid out to individual members of the tribe. Some purchased cars. Some purchased drugs and alcohol. Some capitalized their meth labs. No clean up was done. The money was rapidly squandered.
Do you doubt that reparations paid to blacks would turn out differently? Do think that would end the entitlement mentality? The "Great Society" programs instituted by LBJ in the early 60's have paid out over $5 trillion in welfare benefits. Blacks have been the major recipients. We have already been taken to the cleaners.
I suspect those who seek a violent means of lining their pockets with gold will be paid with lead. It will be an indiscriminate race war.

"May I suggest a big ole piece of a desert out west."No. You may not. Why does everyone in The East want to dump their problems on us?
