The police say Morales fired at least three times at the SWAT team, also known as the Emergency Response Team, thus attempting to kill five Hartford police officers.
They're claiming that it's possible for three shots to kill five people? Were they lined up back to back or something so they can claim that? Shooting at cops is one thing, but just making up magic legal theories is bad too.
There's a spin if ever there was one. We heard the same whine last week when poor Don Matthews was killed "merely for speeding."
