Good post, thanks. I know the answer to this question but I'll ask it anyway. If people are going to jail for making these contributions, why aren't people going to jail for taking these contributions?

Hint: Same reason corporate executives go to jail for cooking the books and senators, representatives, and government functionaries don't.
