Greetings my forever supporters of WTC2002,
In light of todays Press Release, by the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, dated 14th August 2002 whereby they officially announced their rejection of the six WTC designs put forward by various Architects on July 16, 2002, I wish to share with you the following.
This evening, I am preparing my weekly update (Number Twelve) to Mr John Whitehead (Chairman - New York Port Authority) and Mr Alexander Garvin (Corporate Vice President, Planning & Design) and I regard it to be quite timely that my Twelth Update coincides with the LMDC official announcement.
However, before I share with you the contents of "Update Number Twelve" allow me to open with the following text.

Dear Mr. Whitehead,
RE: Update Number Twelve, (12th) New Design Concept WTC2002.
Congratulations, that you were bold enough to take a stand on mediocrity for “Ground Hero” and officially reject the six designs put forward on July 16th 2002.
The Seventh Design, WTC2002, being the choice of New Yorkers, Americans and the Global Village rate our design at 95.5% “YES” to build by comparison to the six designs that you have now officially rejected as at today’s date (please refer to the updated fourth Polling Results as featured on our website www.wtc2002.com ).
WTC2002 embraces every imaginable aspect that a new vision requires for “Ground Hero”, accordingly, we do now look forward to your acknowledgment as such.
Allow me to highlight relevant aspects of WTC2002 as follows:-
A: Below Ground Services (11 Levels) 1) Below Ground includes a “Ring Road” for vehicular movement in and below the site that are linked to the key surrounding streets on two levels.
2) Expansive Retail shopping activity on three underground levels complete with waterways and extensive gardens.
3) Utilitarian activity, water filtration/reticulation, energy reticulation, refuse administration, freight/parcel distribution, food/perishable distribution, tourist parking facility/distribution, repairs & maintenance facility, vehicular parking for residents/occupants/tenants/visitors/tourists on five levels.
4) Underground commuter rail program linked to Central Tower to be known as “The Americas”.
B: Ground Level 1) WTC Memorial Park within a 26 story high bio-sphere which envelopes the entire 16.5 acre land mass functioning at ambient temperature, 24 hours, 7 days per week, 365 days a week, inclusive of “Trees Of Life” Memorial on “Ground Hero” representing all lives lost on 9/11/2001.
C: Levels 1 – 10 (Four External Towers) 1) Extensive Retail Multi Level Shopping precinct, extensive Theatre and Movie complex, Opera complex, Children’s crèche, Cultural and Ecumenical facilities.
D: Levels 11 – 45 (Four External Towers) 1) Residential: Studio, 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments.
2) Dental & Medical facilities, Laboratories, Accountants, Attorneys Offices and Real Estate Agents.
3) Owner operated businesses, for an example: Cafes, Beauty Salon, Photocopy/Print shops and Newsagents etc etc.
E: First Atrium Level (7 Levels 46 – 52) Linked Within Four External Towers 1) Hydroponically fed garden/atrium that embraces meeting areas, Café/internet facilities, moving walk ways linking all five (5) towers (also serve as fire egress routes). Areas for families, friends to congregate in a park like atmosphere as the seven level Atrium extends fifty feet beyond the vertical face of the four external towers.
2) Atop level 52 in four partioned areas will exist re-enforced structures to house the helicopter pads.
F: Levels 53 – 75 1) To accommodate a genuine, World Trade Center array of offices, from all countries around world.
G: Second Atrium Level (7 Levels 76 – 82) Linked Within Four External Towers 1) Hydroponically fed garden/atrium that embraces meeting areas, Café/internet facilities, moving walk ways linking all five (5) towers (also serve as fire egress routes). Areas for families, friends to congregate in a park like atmosphere as the seven level Atrium extends fifty feet beyond the vertical face of the four external towers.
2) Atop level 82 in four partioned areas will exist re-enforced structures to house the helicopter pads.
H: Levels 83 – 95 1) Bankers, Stockbrokers, Financiers, Attorneys, Accountants, Traders, Merchant Bankers, Shipping Companies, Insurance Companies and various Corporate Headquarters inclusive of The New York Port Authority.
I: Levels 96 – 100 Rotating Floors (Five)
96th Level - International franchised “Buffet” Cuisine Operators.
97th Level - International “Al a Carte” Cuisine Operators.
98th Level - Rotating-viewing platforms for tourists.
99th Level - Rotating-viewing platforms for tourists.
100th Level - Conference Center for Boutique Hotel.
J: Levels 101 – 111 Boutique Hotel K: Communication Tower (Otherwise known as “The Turning Point”).
Each tower to be named after a Continent of the World. The North Tower will be known as “Europe”, South Tower will be known as “Australia”, East Tower will be known as “Asia” and the West Tower known as “Africa”.
The Central Tower to be known as “The Americas” which houses fifty, large, high speed elevators, each named after a State of the USA.
Now, I am honored in asking you to read the enclosed 33 emails from people who have taken the time to express their strong sentiments in favor of WTC2002. A token number of emails that were determined by us out of the many thousands we have received this last week.

Friday 2nd August at 8pm 763,898 visitors with an 83% YES vote
Saturday 3rd August at 8pm 768,135 visitors with an 83% YES vote
