Walters began writing the state’s only daily newspaper column devoted to California political, economic and social events in the 1970s. Very interesting interview with Dan Walters. He certainly hit it on the head on a lot of issues including the lack of the Republican Party getting viable candidates to run on the state and federal offices. He didn't give Simon very good marks. Let's hope Simon starts attacking the Dimwit Davis. Oh, Norm you know old Marines like me don't give up so easy we just like to take the fight to our opponent. Best defense is a good offense. Im not so in awe of any columnist or curmudgen to swallow any more of his pap then I can reasonably stomach..
I think he is off base as to who could better address the schools, water and infrastructure issues this state needs to take care of and very soon. I dont think Dan came off quite as knightly as he would like to appear... even with 27 years on the beat in Sacramento...
He laid it out for Simon. Simon has to be his own man and step into the Big Time Ring and get dirty... Point the spotlight back on Davis ... His lack of leadership on Education,,, Taxes,,, MTBE,,, Dioxin,,, Yaknow ,, that stuff....

Sorry I missed it. They turn down their power at sundown, plus I had a business appointment at 7:PM. Thanks for the feedback. That sure is a great station up until 1:PM. Then I switch to KFBK AM 1530 for the rest of the day.

Nope! I was helpin a lawyerwoman and her husband git ready fer old age with some top notch Long Term Care Insurance!!! Now, I'm only doin this to help clean up the mess the government has made with the Medicare and Medicaid systems. The poor people, even attorneys like this one, just aren't aware of the huge and expensive wilderness of care requirements when chronically incompacitated. Just wait till all the Baby Boomers with dope fried brains get to a ripe old age with dementia.

All I remember .. PCI goood, ISA or EISA bad .. I use to work with SCSI back a few years ago. That stuff flies these days. That and some Firewire .. WooHoooo!!
