I'm fully with the school "authorities" on this one! My gosh! (Let's not even get into the question of whether it's proper to use the "I have to do the #1 or #2 when she/he raises her hand to go!)

If he/she didn't want to answer the gender question...he/she could have answered in a Bill Clinton sort of way... "It depenends on what the definition of "His" is?

Last year, a good friend of mine, went to truck driving school, and no one said anyhthing about her wearing pants and looking what I consider to be rather "butch", or mannish. Anyways, she is a long distance trucker now, and is accepted by everyone, everywhere. I also have 2 girlfriends who were in in the army and the air force, and they too had no problems.

What is the big deal about a man that wants what was traditionally a woman's job?
