So, basically, the entire editorial tells us the Saudi government is a bunch of crooked, terrorist backing, despots...but, dammit, we should listen to them...because they are
critical of Bush foreign policy.

I like your posts, and pay particular attention as my son will be returning to the "City of Evil" in a couple of weeks.
But I think you have it wrong here. Maybe this editorial is written in a slighly PCCYA way, but it says a lot of things that need to be known by all those folks wandering around "Ho Square."
