DURHAM, N.C. -- A man accused of hiring a prostitute for mentally retarded boys in a group home should be credited for his health-mindedness, a lawyer argued.
David Thomas Blue provided condoms for the boys, lawyer James D. Williams told a judge Wednesday.

I guess his lawyer's trying to look on the bright side of things, LOL!
"He shouldn't have been in that situation," Williams said of Blue. "But at least he had enough sense to know there shouldn't be unprotected sex. He was protecting those young boys."
Superior Court Judge David LaBarre sounded unimpressed.
"That's really touching - the milk of human kindness," he replied. Still, LaBarre reduced Blue's bail from $225,000 to $100,000.

Well, even mentally retarded people, and DemocRATS, need sex.

I love this lawyer. The guy should be commended because by providing condoms he exhibeted a desire to keep the boys safe.
By that logic, I could put a boy in front of a moving vehicle, but I would be commended if I gave the kid a helmet to wear.

True story - A friend of mine is who is a nurse was working ER one night and a large black woman came in complaining of abdominal pain. At one point she had to use the restroom, where she ended up giving birth. She apparently had no idea she was pregnant, which I know sounds pretty odd. Anyway, my friend, to commemorate the birthplace (but I doubt she let the mother in on the joke), suggested the woman name the baby 'Latrina', which she did.

Never knew a "Latrina", but I once ran into a woman with a daughter named T'keylah - I always figured (guessed) she was conceived at a bar or a party...

By that logic, I could put a boy in front of a moving vehicle, but I would be commended if I gave the kid a helmet to wear. This lawyer's logic reminds me of when I was given 4 hockey tickets for free, that were worth $400, and when we got to the game I decided to go all out with the food and drinks, rationalizing to myself that I could afford it, because I had saved $400.

I did that this weekend at The Who concert. We sat third row center for free, but I somehow managed to spend 200 bucks.
