Saddam is the "Mother" of all despots. I hope he is captured and tried so as to prolong his misery.

"The forces of evil will carry their coffins on their backs to die in disgraceful failure," ...

Saddam -1990-"The mother of all battles".

Saddam -2002-The mother of hyperbole.

I have no idea why I referred to fallout as "they." Maybe I was thinking there'd be more than one bum. (With apologies to Peter Sellers.)

The only thing they they are capable of is sending hundreds or thousands of mind dead Allah-bots to their deaths

And barely capable of that. I crossed a thread yesterday where ol' saddam was chopping off the ears of his folks who were trying to split the scene rather work in his army..(My facts may not be 100% on..I skimmed through the thread..but nonetheless, he's using brute tactics to keep Iraqi males around...wouses)

Saddam spoke dressed in a dark gray suit in front of a white curtain and with a spread of white lilies on his desk. ..........

I'd much prefer that Saddam didn't speak and had a spread of white lilies on his chest !

Stay Safe "D" !!

I saw that article with much the same response. If that's what it takes to keep the mighty All-duh-ites in check, how much trouble could it be.

We would win, but this time Saddam will pull out all the stops. If we do go in, get ready to see hundreds of our boys stricken with Anthrax and paralyzed by nerve gas.

Saddam said the Security Council "should reply to the questions raised by Iraq and should honor its obligations under its own resolutions."

yes, the un should do this. and the united states should invade iraq without further ado.

We must show that we are LIBERATORS...not a foreign replacement for their Tyrant. We must win an in-country promotion war first. He'll hide within every orphanage and hospital he can find, and get us to kill them too otherwise, accomplishing a promotional coup against us, and further manipulating his nation of captives, to their suffering hurt. We must encourage people to run away at the attack of his equipment. Hey, their number's up at this point anyway, and when his "supplies" hit the four winds, they'll be dead anyway...but we should make our intentions and desires CLEAR to his manipulated captives first...ourselves...then hammer them with his/their destiny. When the world's population starts trying to sneak across the border INTO Iraq, the way it does into the otherwise idiotic, but FREE world, we may have cause to reevaluate. Not as it presently stands, however. Let Freedom Ring.

Free Iraq.

You're absolutely right. The only reason he didn't use WMD in the last war was because he feared nuclear retaliation and believed we would leave him in power if he behaved.

This time, he knows we're going for his head. He's got nothing to loose. Get ready to see hundreds, if not thousands, of US troops, to say nothing of Iraqi and Kurdish and maybe even Israeli and Turkish civilians, gassed and/or infected with anthrax.

the sad thing is that a large part of his uneducated population DO believe themselves indestructable

expecially those who were young during the last war. that would include those perhaps 25 years and younger. these will be the people that will fight the war for iraq.

if we can eliminate all of them who will, "fight to the death," that only leaves those who are wiser, older, know what war with the us is like AND beyond child bearing age...

it may take a generation, but if we play our cards right, we might be able to not have an iraqi problem in a generation

your facts are close enough. while sodom gives these wonderful speeches, he really does not want his country men to hear them!

friends, romans, country-men, lend me your ears!!!

Maybe not...

Saddam's strategy of keeping his troops in populated areas plays into a siege strategy. Our troops take the oil fields throughout the country, establish bases and airfields, and don't let anything in or out of the cities.
Any scud strikes could be easily shot down with patriots. Scud sites can be taken out with precision munitions.

And, we could sell the oil to pay for the cost of maintaining the siege. I'm no military expert, but this makes sense to me.

Nice macabre touch, Sodom...
