bat-boy: "Put up or shut up a**hole. Provide evidence that a libertarian has complained about the way Mr. Robinson run's this site? Or do you just like to "hear yourself speak"? "

Easy enough to do:

tpaine: " No one here is challenging JR's right to run his website."

"I don't question his ownership authority. I question guideline usage and how fairly they are enforced."

Self-proclaimed "libertarian" tpaine has appointed himself Grand Monitor of JR & the Mod's "fairness" in enforcing guidelines.

If he was truely a libertarian, he'd respect JR's right to operate the forum in any manner he sees fit, INCLUDING the right to be inconsistant in enforcement of guidelines if he so chooses.

I send money to my favorite gun magazines. And while I don't donate to them, I surely hope they remain in business and I understand their motive is profit. I would have no problem with Jim Robinson making a profit and I also would have no problem with others making a return on their time and effort (John Robinson, Badjoe, etc.). This site takes a lot of work. Their is nothing wrong with rewarding hard work.

Agreed. It's his site. He can and should be able to do whatever he wants with it, period (to include make as much money as possible).

I have found the AM's on FR to be very fair, and even somewhat lenient. The AM has a job to do. A job which is subjective. Since I'm sure there is more than one AM, it only makes sense that the guidelines would be inconsistant. However, I do not take that as an act of unfairness, but a matter of personality differences. What one person thinks is out of line may not be the same as another person's.

Sure thing willy. Dream on, spout your hype. My posts above say nothing like what you imply. - And, -- they are about old news, old fights. Grow up & try to control your hate.

If he was truely a libertarian, he'd respect JR's right to operate the forum in any manner he sees fit, INCLUDING the right to be inconsistant in enforcement of guidelines if he so chooses.

-- Theres a good one, the 'right' to be inconsistant. - I give up on you willy. -- Whatever.

For once you are right (about us libertarians! haha) well as I put earlier, I vote yes, JR should be able to make as much as he can get.
