To: The Joke That Is The Feral Government

You can indict Chris Webber, but you can't see a thing that Je$$e Jack$on, Extortionist Supreme, is up to.

These Feral thugs need to be b**ch-slapped until they bleed.

Webber should quick call a time-out.

The funny thing about all this is that the other three players cooperated and told the truth. Webber, even though he was under oath (and in no legal danger if he told the truth), chose to lie. Then he continued to repeat the lies publicly, blamed people who had a grudge against him and were out to get him.

Kinda sounds like somebody we know . . .

Of course then we get to the women: Monica Lewinsky vs. Tyra Banks and the comparison loses all validity.

That's funny - he doesn't have a time-out left.

In a matter of time, the NBA will implode on itself. The generation of greed now sits on the throne and the Allen Iverson's of the world (and in the NBA, every team has a few) are running the show.

Gone are the great match-ups of players that would suit up for food money and played for the love of the game.

These bastards make me sick. Baseball too.

Woe to the NBA.

Webber is being indicted for lying to a grand jury about something which is not a federal crime. It is equivalent to hauling you in front of a federal grand jury investigating whether you violated your subdivision's restrictive covenants, then being indicted for lying about it, even though no federal law was broken in the underlying events.

The real crime is that busybody U.S. attorneys waste their time and our money on this chicken, um, feed.

How about we suspend his fishing license for 5 years and don't allow him to play golf for the same period? This would fit within the guidelines of current precedent.

Thanks.

My dad and I have discussed this aspect of college athletics at length. In our humble opinions, colleges should have an "athlete track." Allow athletes w/ substandard SATs in, let them take elementary nutrition, phys ed, sports law, basic finance, personnel management, etc. Let the boosters take them to barbecues, give them cushy summer jobs, whatever. If they stick around for four years, give them a BS in "Sports Management" and when they enter the real world, at least they'll know to pay their taxes and keep their checkbooks balanced.

"Webber should quick call a time-out."

LOL!, I was scrolling the thread to see how long it would take before someone said that...at #4, you're good!
