I think this time the people can clearly see the liberal media bias.
Clinton had 8 years and did nothing unless it helped hide his impeachment scandel.
Terrorism came to America under his watch.

this is so predictable....We blew it by not scripting
the networks comments BEFORE it happened...We freepers
had the jump.....anotherwords write the conversation
before it happens and post side by side both with comparrisons....wish I had freeper and pc skills

Rebuild? When did he ever have a legitimate one?

Notice both CBS and NBC proclaimed "in a new published report", blah, blah.
That lingo is supposed to convey to the sheeple that it's the gospel truth.

You may be right that the people can see the bias, but I am not that hopeful...Sadly, the vast majority get their "news" for the big three networks...they do not see Ann Coulter make mince-meat of the "Clinton had a plan" tripe on cable....however, we can HOPE that those who hear this "report" stop and ask: "Hey, wait a minute. If you had a plan, why the hell didn't YOU do something?"

Paging Ann Coulter. Ann Coulter please pick up a white courtesy phone.

Jane Clayson interviewed Time reporter Massimo Calabressi and displayed more skepticism than Rather would later in the day toward the Clinton spin. One of her questions: "So if this plan was so extensive and so important to the Clinton administration why didn't they follow through on it themselves?"Credit where credit is due.

This story in Time is sickening in it's baldfaced effort to make cover the negligent rearends of Clinton officials, and in trying to portray GW Bush and his officials as incompetent. The effort of Clinton's formal officials to justify themselves, and the liberal media's effort to be their apologists, makes me conclude that these people are culpable in the intelligence failures that led to the attacks on 9/11. They recognize how vulnerable they are to the negative conclusions of history, and are furiously trying, not to spin facts, but to actually make up, manufacture "facts" or events.
This Time story is the most baldfaced, and most desparate effort yet, to try to infuse the Clinton Administration with a hint of competence.

Clinton was too busy getting a hair cut in air force one by Barbara Streisand hair dresser; he even failed to make trip to WTC after the Islamic bastered blew its first van explosive their in 1993!

Clinton is the Big Evil, the Big Lie, the Big Fat Cocaine-Addicted X-President, in the opinion of some people on this forum. I am not aware that X is the proper designation - could it be Ex?
Some people say he would do anything to defend his narcisistic self-image, including lie, cheat and steal, let alone distort his record and cast aspersions on his successor with falsehood and innuendo. But some people say it isn't the lying so much as the criminal behavior that is the more offensive. Others chime in with allegations of fraud and the selling of national security secrets for profit.
But are these potential failings really as important as his critics claim? We all have to sort out our priorities in life, and in our leaders.

"So if this plan was so extensive and so important to the Clinton administration why didn't they follow through on it themselves?"Precisely. This is such an obvious and desperate attempt to build the shattered reputation of the Clinton Administration that the absurdity of it would be laughable if it weren't such a hideous effort to build some partisan legacy on the dead bodies of the victims of 9/11.
I swear, may God strike me dead if I ever vote for the trash that parades around as the "New Democratic" Party, created in the mold of Bill Clinton.

Still trying to validate the Clintons' existence, eh, Dan?

"Daniel Benjamin, a former counter-terrorism official in the Clinton administration, argues there was indeed a plan to pursue al-Qaeda but that Bush officials weren't much interested."I don't blame them, because from all appearances, the Clinton plan involved sending in a single cruise missle to destroy an unoccupied tent and perhaps kill a camel -- a meaningless symbolic action. We know this story is false, because when, in eight years as President, did Clinton ever come up with a substantive plan for anything.

You could have shortened your comments to, "Can't we just move on?"
Until both Clintons are out of government, out of the news, un-spun, dying or dead, I'll never move on.

The sad thing is all of here will probably live out the rest of days on this earth with the Clintons clammering for the TV lens. They wore out their welcome 10 years ago, as far as I'm concerned.
