His messiah complex is so overblown that some day you may see him on Pennsylvania Avenue shouting, "Soylent Green is people."

Soon they'll be breeding us like cattle! You've got to warn everyone and tell them! Soylent green is made of people! You've got to tell them! Soylent green is people!

The Truth. And praise be to Al Gore, the Truth Teller.

Gore's stiff manner, fugitive glances and profuse sweating when speaking are the result of his fear of speaking the truth.

While Clinton was a total scumbag, his only concern being with what was good for him (while he refused to fight for his own country he's willing to die for Isreal?! Yeah, right!), Gore is the totally weird one. He and McCain might make some people believe in aliens from outer space. (A while back there was an article in one of the tabloids which calimed several of our sentors were aliens.)

Here's a new one on me. Remember Al Gore claiming that the movie "Love Story" was based on his and Tipper's relationship? I read last night that Gore and Tommy Lee Jones were freshman roommates at Harvard and Jones played one of Oliver's roommates in "Love Story". As with everything Al Gore, it's a stretch, but I bet that's where the tale came from.

The wooden one is and always will be delusional.

Gore, the Messiah

Well, the title is half right. Should read:

Gore, the Mess.

Gore is also like a political Zelig. I'm not kidding. At various stages he has assumed the look, mannerisms, and speech patterns of Harry Truman, Ronald Reagan, and even Adolf Hitler. The latter happens rarely but I've seen it. It's when he is very angry. He actually starts screaming in a Hitler-like husky voice. I remember it happening right after the Republicans took control of congress in 1994.

Gore, the Messiah

Excerpt:

The Truth. And praise be to Al Gore, the Truth Teller.

But does Gore mean the truth that he opposes, as he wrote, the "forces of greed"? Or is he referring to the truth that he readily made multiple fund- raising phone calls to fat cats from the White House?

Gore told voters it was the truth that he vowed to take on Big Tobacco after his sister died of lung cancer in 1984. And then there's the truth he told North Carolinians in 1988, that "throughout most of my life, I raised tobacco," hoed it, chopped it, shredded it and sold it.

No surprise a Pew Research Center poll found that only 13 percent of Americans believe most of what Gore says.

And he doesn't help his cause by turning every crisis or potential crisis into Armageddon.

Thanks for posting this, OEB ! Good one!

LOL! Al Gore, what a joke. I hope he runs in 2004 and I hope he wears lipstick again at the debates.

This guy flips and flops more than a carp out of water.

I was in Washington DC a few years ago, and went out with my girlfriend at the time to a karaoke bar in Alexandria, VA (we were thirsty). Anyhow, a fellow came up to sing who was obviously taking himself far too seriously, going for the Willie Nelson look except much stiffer. My girlfriend, who was American, said, "Hey, he's got a corncob shoved up his a**!". The name caught on and everyone was shouting at the fellow, "Get off Corncob! Go away Corncob!", etc.

Perhaps that treatment should be applied to Corncob Al? ;)

Regards, Ivan

This was in the Chronic? Pigs are circling at SFO...

Algore's been told so much by so many "experts" on how to present himself that he's about eight different fancy frames with no picture inside. Saunders is right about lack of introspection, and I get the impression that the reason for it is that in a very fundamental way this poor mannequin doesn't know who the hell he really is.
