Flicking through the channels a few minutes ago, CNN said that a study was done, and the study finds that CNN has the most believable news than any other major news organization. What a load of BS! Also, they said they have the same viewers, or maybe a slight decline than last year.
CNN is evidently not keeping up with current events. (AKA Fox News, Rush, Ann Coulter, etc.)
Before anyone says anything, NO! I do not watch CNN news.
I guess they think if they tell everyone this, one or two people may start believing it. Thought ya'll would like to know that the propaganda continues.

I don't care who is most "believable". Special effects can be "believable". Lies can be "believable". I want the "most accurate". Can you give us that, CNN? Well?

They needed to come up with something, I guess - FNC is the most watched/most trusted; MSNBC is "America's News Channel." What could CNN say for itself? Just "This is CNN." (and it wasn't even them saying it - it was Darth Vader!)They were wimps when I worked there, and they're even bigger wimps now. At least when I was there, they had real reporters running the newsroom. Now everybody's more concerned with entertainment than news...

CNN has the most believable news Interesting choice of words. I suppose they could be the most believable, which come to think of it has nothing at all to do with accuracy. It's subjective. No wonder they scored so high.

Only in their wildest dreams maybe. I'd say that they have FOX envy. The only thing I believe about or from CNN is that they are liberal as can be.

This comes from the most recent Pew poll. CNN had the highest rating among news sources that were mentioned in the poll, with something like 40% who said they always trusted what they said.
The same poll also determined that 21% had never even heard of Tom Daschle, so it's hard to imagine that these people even know what's being reported on the news.

Well no wonder, CNN believed Clinton saying, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky" was gospel.
Hey who cares, from a cable network that has crazy Jane and psychotic Ted at the helm.

Here is a small excert from the Washinton Post... http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A45177-2002Aug5.html
You will not be shocked to learn that partisan affiliation plays a role. While 57 percent of Democrats and 56 percent of independents see the media as biased, 69 percent of Republicans surveyed feel that way.
Now let's name some names. The highest rating for credibility believing all or most of what's reported goes to CNN at 37 percent, says Pew. Followed by "60 Minutes" (34 percent), "20/20" (31 percent), C-SPAN (30), MSNBC (28), "Dateline" (28), local TV news (27), CBS (26), the Lehrer NewsHour (26), NBC (25), ABC (24), Fox (24) and NPR (23).
Partisan differences surface here too. To wit, 45 percent of Democrats say they believe all or most of what they see on CNN, compared with 32 percent of Republicans. Roughly equal proportions of Dems and GOPers (28 and 27 percent) say Fox News is credible.

Now this is one time I would like to know the polling (study) data. For all we know, Paula turned to the cameraman and asked, "Aren't we believable?" The cameraman, looking a bit dazed that he was being addressed by Ms. Zahn, responded in the affirmative...and VOILA! You have your study.
