Facts pure and simple: Attorneys can not be trusted.
Lawyers in America have to much control and authority without enough checks and balances. As with police officers, who do you expect to stand up against a corrupt lawyer or judge, another lawyer.Think about it.America does not have any checks and balances when it comes to the judicial system. It all begins and ends with a lawyer and everything in between is controlled by lawyers, some would call it a monopoly.

It still amazes me that Judge Leslie Wells did not RECUSE herself from judgement in the Traficant case since her husband, Charles Clark, has had lucrative business deals with the prosecution's chief witness, John Cafaro (who admitted lying in a previous case). Right now there are rising calls for the investigation of Traficant's prosecutor, Craig Morford. Okay, how about also including the judicial abuse by Judge Wells?

Look at the record. Witnesses who agree to testify/lie about Traficant (Cafaro) get drastically reduced sentences in other cases (even though he committed perjury). Witnesses who REFUSE to testify/lie about Traficant (Detore) gets the book thrown at him. Oh, and NO physical evidence against Traficant. All hearsay evidence from very questionable witnesses.
Please take this into consideration you Pennsylvania Ave lurkers out there who are considering whether or not to appoint Morford to U.S. Attroney.
