Ann is a beautiful, 40-something who has never married or raised a child - what do you make of this?

I'm sure that at some level she would like to do these things. But at RNC gatherings in D.C., Ann privately complains to her friends that she can't find a guy. The truth is, most men are intimidated by her looks, fame, and financial success; those who aren't intimidated by these things are intimidated by her education and overwhelming intelligence, and the very, very few who don't find those things intimidating are terrified by her mouth! Stop and think about it: as charming as she is, would most men really want to be on the receiving end of her rapid-fire logic and her ability to verbally eviscerate the opposition? Imagine the first fight.

It's tough enough to meet men who are successful in D.C. or New York but aren't arrogant. To find one with patience, kindness, a sweet spirit, political savvy, personal strength, honor, integrity, AND the confidence to cope with such a bundle of firepower as Ann Coulter is possible, but very difficult. And with her work schedule, her cause, she doesn't have a lot of time for the search. So time passes. Fortunately, with her looks she will have more years for man-shopping than most of us. I know of several high-powered Washington ladies who didn't end up getting married for the first time until they were in their mid-forties, even in their fifties. It's never too late.

Allow me to elaborate. Back around that time, a few celebrity conservatives stopped by for a live thread discussion, set up by JimRob or whoever else was involved. So for about an hour or so, there was a Q&A between Ann and the Freepers. As far as I know, she hasn't posted under that account since and just lurks here on occasion.

Other celebrity guests at that time for live Q&As included Pat Buchanan...I forget who else may have stopped by...

Pat Buchanan signed up 2000-03-24.

I don't believe he's posted here since then either.

Let her disagree on one of these issues and watch the wolves come out to eat her and then denounce her.

This is a little absurd.

I believe the question "what might that hot button topic be?" lends more to the incredulity of Ann flip-flopping. No one would argue just what the hot-button issues are, that's silly. Equally silly is the notion that Ann would ever in a million years suddenly call for Shumer-style gun control and free federally sponsored abortions for everyone.

You admit to making a habit of trolling for arguments. If you are attacked, I say that it's not in an eat-our-own scenario -- more likely, you're seen one of those infiltrators. You know the kind that just want to argue for arguments' sake? The kind that set up shop here and bang a pot with a spoon long and loudly enough that someone finally yells SHUT UP? You know, like two-year-olds do. They make you crazy that way, because they're very immature.
