I'm sorry, but conservatives in Tennessee need to support Ed Bryant. If Mrs. Griffin had been able to mount a credible challenge for the nomination, we would have heard of her before election eve. Ed Bryant was one of the House Managers in the Clinton impeachment trial, and a loss for any manager in a race against a more liberal candidate is always a win for the Clintonists. I may not agree with him on every vote, but he has earned the right to carry the nomination to November. I urge all Tennesseans to vote for Ed Bryant tomorrow. I've lived most of my life in Tennessee although I no longer live there now. I regret that I won't be able to vote for him tomorrow.

Oh, OK. Like (R) Bill Archer, the Chairman of the powerful Ways and Means Committee (taxes) said "we should pull the tax code out by it's roots"...he said that WHILE ADDING about 800 pages to the tax code.
