FBI spokeswoman Sandra Carroll said investigators questioned El-Atriss after the Sept. 11 attacks and found no evidence he knew of the hijackers' plans.
They've had more than enough time. What did they find out about him right after 9/11? Why was this guy still free ten months after the attacks?

I say Egypt is involved in this somehow; I'm betting he walked right on that plane yesterday with no problem.

Egypt and Saudi Arabia should get the same ultimatum we gave the Taliban. Hand him and his money over now - or else!

Because it's the FBI! (Freaking Blithering Idiots!). On the FOX NEWS channel it was stated that he left just "hours" before the police raided his business. (DUH!) However, they did catch a bunch of underlings! LMAO! This case is a great reason to disband this bunch of goofs and hire some good aggressive pro-active cops.

A man who allegedly sold fake IDs to two of the Sept. 11 hijackers apparently fled the country for Egypt just before authorities came to arrest him in a raid on his home and businesses Wednesday, investigators said. Sounds like Mr. O'Neill's jurisdiction has extended to the FBI. Dem politicians demanding the resignation of O'Neill and other Keystone Kops in the cabinet will have a field day when the sheeple hear about little Dumbya's latest blunder.

...fled the country for Egypt just before authorities came to arrest him...The real question is: who in the FBI tipped him off that they were coming!

More pathetic results by our top "elite" alphabet agents from the Justice and Treasury and Immigration.
But it's OK when they get the wrong address and maim or kill the residents.
Hey, wait! They did get J.J.Trafficant, one of the meanest and most dangerous SOBs they ever had to chase...

Why was this guy still free ten months after the attacks? Because in our society the "victim" is good and the authority --- any authority -- is by default bad.
This "logic" emasculated our defenses long ago: first, our military in Vietnam, next police in the inner cities, then the CIA, and presently FBI. The spooks are afraid of the ACLU more than they are frightened by hoodlums' bullets. To arrest someone, they must have an impeccable case; but the time they make it such, the subject is in... Egypt, our steadfast ally in the war on terror.

Who cares whether he knew or not? He broke the law and was an accessory to murder here, and they let him go. Roscoe and Cletus would have done a better job here than the FBI did.
When will the FBI wake up and start doing its job?
When will government officials hold other government officials answerable, responsible, and fireable for inexcusable messups like this?
The INS agent who reapproved Attah, posthumously and post terrorist act, is probably looking at a pay raise come January.
Bush complained but didn't do anything. What is the use of his complaint, or how he feels without action.
