Which do you assert does the abuse, the redneck or the Christian? Or is it just when the two are mixed? What is your definition of a redneck btw? The Bible lays down the best way to raise a family in my opinion, sorry if you don't subscribe to it.

If I had my choice when growing up I would rather be a Jeff Foxworthy, God fearing bonafide true red-neck rather than under the influence of two queers.

Being raised in a queer household is about as bad (IMO) as being abused sexually or mentally.
