Brian Kilmeade Gaffe on Fox and Friends
Fox News
Posted on 07/30/2002 5:01:53 AM PDT by kalt
I was watching Fox and Friends and Mancow was talking to an empty studio. The implication was that Brian Kilmeade had said something outrageous, but no one was repeating what it was. So what did he say? They came back from a long commercial break as if nothing had happened.

He asked, "What is the name of the sport where two mean lay on top of each other and go down an ice hole?"

I think Mancow asked the question. Brian gave an answer which completely broke up the set, but I did not hear it either. Thanks for posting the thread. I am sure a Freeper with good ears (or who was taping the show, if there is such a person) will let us know. I have great confidence in the powers of FreeRepublic!

Don't know about you but I am hooked on this show. Mancow, especially, always gets my day started with a grin. They make the other morning shows look stuffy and boring by comparison.
Especially the decreasingly "perky" Katie Couric who is starting to look like a used car with a lot of mileage on it.

Yes, I have enjoyed them this summer. I have to leave my house by 6 a.m. on school days so I will miss them! I enjoyed Hackworth this morning. He said he was on a 48 city book tour and everybody said to him Fox and Friends were number one!

This morning was great. They were so funny moving out the furniture and rolling up the rug and then walking off the set. Mancow had to adlib!
I thought I had heard Brian's retort, but wasn't sure. I knew some Freeper would have posted it. This morning's show made my day!

Aw man, that was a hoot.
Steve just stares at him, E.D. has her head in her hands, they walk off and take their coffee with 'em.
Then they take the table...
Then the lights go out...
Then Brian gives up and leaves...
And there's Mancow, in the little box, ad libbing with only a lonely chair in a dark studio to talk to.

Great synopsis!

I was LOL at their antics - great start of the day and what a pleasant contrast to Kutie Katey - not that I ever watch her.

And in between the chairs and the lights, Steve came by and rolled up the carpet and hauled it away. LOL.
