I forget which car it was, I think a Monza or something, where you had to take out the engine to change the spark plugs or change the oil filter.

I had a Monza. Mine was recalled for faulty motor mounts. I sold it a week later. It took years for Chevy to get me to buy another product from them.

All the cars in that class that had the 265 ci V8 had to have the motor mounts disconnected and the engine jacked up to get at the spark plugs. Monza, Starfire, Sunbird, Skyhawk. These cars were so bad that the Kelly blue book wouldn't put a value on them. The book said "buy at your own risk".

I had a 1986 Cavalier Z24 (or "How to stuff a V6 in a shoebox). You had to take apart part most of the engine to get to the back plugs!!! Also the hood oxidized but they made lovely geometric patterns.
