As happy as I am that all nine miners are safe and above ground, I have just one question.

Why didn't they send the voice line down Thursday?

"We've been waiting"

"They are eager to come up"

In a solid tie as the most wonderful understatment of the week...

Continued prayers to the men and their families...

I woke up half asleep to see they had all 9 out early in the am. This morning it feels like a dream, but I'm glad it is not! I'm off to church right now to praise God for seeing these men safely to the top and back to thier families. What a joy!!!!

Given the physics, it was a miracle they chose to drill where they did.

Praise the Lord for the wonderful outcome.
And we must also be thankful for all involved in the miraculous rescue.

Praise God they're safe. My grandfather was a coal miner in So. Illinois and used to help out at coal mine accidents. Watching those miners work made admire him even more since they didn't have all the equipment back when he was mining.
