Watch and pray. The rescuers are optimistic that they will reach the cavity where the miners are located by midnight, perhaps as soon as 10pm et.

They just reported that several PA miners were caught in a similar situation thirty years ago AND WERE RESCUED ALIVE AFTER A WEEK IN THE HOLE.

Yeah, the staff of our cable company here is apparently composed of compleat idiots. They have apparently sublet their cable modem service to a bunch of people in Colorado who are far, far away (and never answer the phone when you need them.) We're supposed to have cable modem, but it's intermittent, so I spend a lot of time on phone modem, and half the time the TV cable is down too. It's not getting a very good signal right now, so I'm FR dependent for breaking news . . . ;-)

One miner is bigger than the rest and they do not think he will fit in the 22" diameter cage. They will rescue him by strapping a harness on him if he will not fit in the cage.

Sorry if someone has posted a reply already, but I understand there was a fire in a silver mine in Idaho back in the early 1970s that killed 91 miners. Two men who were trapped underground found their way to a remote, ventilated area of the mine, and were rescued eight days later.
