Watch and pray. The rescuers are optimistic that they will reach the cavity where the miners are located by midnight, perhaps as soon as 10pm et.

They just reported that several PA miners were caught in a similar situation thirty years ago AND WERE RESCUED ALIVE AFTER A WEEK IN THE HOLE.

Well to be fair(and I've been very hard on FNC tonight), they did do the best job this afternoon, and stuck with the story today far more than any other channel. Rick Levanthal has done an absolutely superb job(unlike whoever back in NY decided Cavuto and Fleiss were more important, and then delayed in switching back to the scene).

However, for FNC to maintain credibility, that HAVE to fire Geraldo after his disgraceful performance tonight. What a complete asshole(sorry for the foul language, but nothing less is appropriate). Cutting off the governor while interviewing him, and his first words to start out the interview after the Gov. had just finished his conference was to clumsily slap his arm around the Gov. and proclaim "Way to go, dude". Completely smarmy, unprofessional, hammy, just came across as complety insincere and in incredibly bad taste.
