Watch and pray. The rescuers are optimistic that they will reach the cavity where the miners are located by midnight, perhaps as soon as 10pm et.
They just reported that several PA miners were caught in a similar situation thirty years ago AND WERE RESCUED ALIVE AFTER A WEEK IN THE HOLE.

If I'm correct, I think before the Governor spoke they were having a tiny bit of problems with their connections or something like that. WHOREaldo was REALLY looking forward to the governors news conference. Something went wrong with the camera hookups!

Whatever. Fox spent the previous two hours on live coverage of the event - and more or less,nothing happened, then, in the hour they choose to go with scheduled programming - that's when stuff happens - tough call to make; but Fox is with it now - and I'm guessing they'll stay with it for a while now.

FOX NEWS had a comment earlier this evening (I believe it was our esteemed Governor) to the effect that 30 years ago they had half a dozen men down the hole for A WEEK, and the men were recovered live and survived.
