It's one of the first things we get, and sometimes it's the last reminder of who we are.
They signify our unity of purpose and our dedication to our country.

Tucson...don't leave out the Desert Museum. A living museum, more like a zoo than a museum. They got mountain lions. Man them things is BIG. Scoot up to N. Arizona and check out Monument Valley. John Wayne Country. Lots to see here, fer sure.

U S S Arizona Memorial
The Memorial straddles the sunken hull of the battleship USS Arizona
and commemorates the December 7, 1941, Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
The Memorial was dedicated in 1962, and became a National Park Service area in 1980.
