OKLAHOMA CITY - A Metro woman called police after two men asked some pointed questions about downtown.
The woman said she's worried that what those men wanted to know could be a threat to our Homefront Security.
The woman says she noticed the flash in the corner of her eye and turned around to notice a man taking pictures. It wasn't until he asked her a question that she became concerned.
Teresa Turner is a parking garage attendant in downtown Oklahoma City. Her booth sits at the base of our skyline. She has full view of every skyscraper, and until recently never thought of them as terrorist targets.
First I was tourist and then terrorist, she said. He came up to the booth and asked me is that the tallest building. And I told him, well, yeah. When he asked me that he said, well is this all of the downtown area. I said, well, yeah, what you see is what you get. He said thank you and walked off.
After a few pictures, the men Turner describe as middle eastern sped away. From across the street Turner couldn't see their tag, but she says she does remember the chill down her spine.
It's close to 9-11, We're what, two months away? she said. It's a scary thought. If anything transpired, I'm right here in the midst of that building.
Turner said the men were driving a mid-90s, 4-door Lincoln Continental either gray or silver. She describes the man as about 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds, dark skinned with a strong accent.
An FBI official says many times tourist will ask to see the largest building in town, to take their picture near it. But the woman says the men never took pictures of each other, strictly the building itself.
Anyone with additional information is encouraged to call the Oklahoma City police department.
This guy?
Yeah, sure lots of middle easterners travel half way around the world to Oklahoma to take pictures of the tallest buildings.
They expect the taxpayers to fork out how much more for Homeland Defense ? If this is an example of thinking "outside the box" in this "new type of war" then we are in a lot of trouble! Of course, this comment may have been made for sheeple consumption. Nothing to worry about-honest!
Cheers Tony
