Many of you have never been to an abortion mill. This is a very worthwhile experience and you will not be lonely like the people who are there every Saturday. This will be a very holy, peaceful, enlightening experience. We had a thousand people come for stations of the cross in Engelwood with Bishop Myers on Good Friday. Children are welcome. It is safe for everyone except the mothers and their babies. Please make an effort to show up and bring a friend.

Dear Fellow Pro-Lifer,
Please join us on Saturday, August 17th at 8 AM for a prayer vigil at the
Pilgrim abortion clinic on Bloomfield Ave. in Montclair. We will meet
across the street in front of the Social Security Office.
Every week of the year hundreds of deceived mothers bring their
defenseless babies to be killed in Montclair. Some mothers dont know about
the pro-life alternatives to abortion that are available.
Every week of the year faithful Christians like the Fittins and Pat Meehan
are on the Montclair sidewalk offering hope and help to the mothers as they
enter the clinic. Once again its time for the rest of us in the pro-life
community to join them as witnesses to the Sanctity of Human Life and as
prayer warriors.
Marissa Southwell, Anthony Armando and Elliott Guerra have organized this
prayer vigil. They are all working this summer as LIFENET interns.
Saturday, August 17th at 8 AM is the time.
Pilgrim abortion clinic in Montclair is the place.
The prayer vigil is the manner in which abortion can be unmasked for the
evil it is.
Human lives depend on the response of those who understand.
Come support the mothers and their children.
Yours in Christ,
Bill Calvin, President LIFENET

"Several years ago, when 17,000 aborted babies were found in a dumpster outside a pathology laboratory in Los, Angeles, California, some 12-15,000 were observed to be black."
--Erma Clardy Craven (deceased)
Social Worker and Civil Rights Leader

Minority women constitute only about 26% of the female population (age 15-44) in the United States, but they underwent approximately 36% of the abortions.
According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, black women are more than 3 times as likely as white women to have an abortion
On average, 1,452 black babies are aborted every day in the United States.
This incidence of abortion has resulted in a tremendous loss of life. It has been estimated that since 1973 Black women have had about 10 million abortions. Michael Novak had calculated "Since the number of current living Blacks (in the U.S.) is 31 million, the missing 10 million represents an enormous loss, for without abortion, America's Black community would now number 41 million persons. It would be 35 percent larger than it is. Abortion has swept through the Black community like a scythe, cutting down every fourth member."
A highly significant 1993 Howard University study showed that African American women over age 50 were 4.7 times more likely to get breast cancer if they had had any abortions compared to women who had not had any abortions.
