The closet collector maintains and views his erotica in secret and does not molest children. This type of collector builds his collection in a clandestine manner and keeps its existence a secret. Sometimes, he will maintain this collection for years without the knowledge of a live-in spouse.

The closet collector can probably get his kicks (for awhile) from viewing young children in their under clothes in CATALOGS.

Sears catalog, Pennys catalog, etc; PORN,PORN,PORN.
Any body remember out houses and catalogs for TP? Some men sure spent a long time in there reading the catalog.;-)

The blood on the jacket.

Here's the jacket story. Westerfield was on an erratic journey over the weekend. Between 7 and 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 4 he goes to his usual drycleaners and takes in comforters, some other kind of bedding and a green jacket. He takes his MH to the place where he stores it, gets in his SUV,which he left for the first time ever at the storage place (the guy who lives where he stores it says someone, usually Neal, came along to drive the SUV away when the MH was picked up and Neal verified this yesterday).

Westerfield drives home in the SUV and shortly the police arrive. He is asked questions, including where he was over the weekend, but he doesn't tell about the drycleaning trip. When the police leave he sits down at his computer for a bit (a tape recording of an interview later that day with a Det. Redden was made and portions played for the jury). He runs to the drycleaners again with dark clothes and requests same-day service but is told it is too late in the day so that's out. He does tell Det. Redden about drycleaning trip #2 but doesn't tell him about trip #1 either. He explicitly tells Redden he went directly to get his SUV and go home.

When the police get a warrant for the drycleaning stuff a couple days later it has all been cleaned. Yet they are able to get some evidence. The green jacket had 4 stains. 3 tested positive presumptively for blood, the fourth indeterminate. Two spots turned out to be Westerfield's and the third was Danielle's. The jacket had already been cleaned and was in the plastic bag. No fibers on it-----just Danielle's blood.

Also, the drag marks around the body were referenced again yesterday and it sounds like it is entrails---not huge drag marks of her whole body, from my understanding.

4 postive pieces of info against one negative(dogs) is pretty tough to argue with.

The defense explanation of playing in RV as reason for the 3 contacts in the RV is almost incredible. The 4th contact on jacket starts putting the alternate possibilities in the miracle category.

Looking at post mortem changes..this is what he expected a body to look in 4 - 6 weeks..

One week = 7 days
Four weeks = 4 x 7 = 28 days
Six weeks = 6 x 7 = 42 days

January hath 31 days

Date Danielle Van Dam's body recovered = February 27, 2002.

According to Prosecution's "expert" witless witness, Danielle Van Dam was dead between January 16, 2002 and January 31, 2002.

Now that's hilarious.

I just wanted a simple 'yes, Damon could have messed up the memory chip' or 'no, Damon couldn't mess up the memory chip'.

I think you're brilliant but after a long day of following this stuff, sometimes a simple answer works best.

I hope I didn't offend you. Sorry.

It still doesn't make sense to me that someone would drag a childs body. Bad back ? Small person ? Avoid contact ?

Maybe I can clear this up for you too.

HYPOTHESIS.

DW is under surveillance, GPS on his SUV.

AROUND the 16th, someone takes Danielle's body from where it was, and decides to dump it WHERE IT CAN BE EASILY FOUND.

Here is a partially mummified, rotting Corpse, and you don't want to leave your DNA,hair, anything else on it.

You certainly aren't going to PICK IT UP AND CARRY IT . You are gonna drag it. With parts coming off as you do.

Not sure how much heavier though. But if dead weight doubles, then it would be 120 lbs.

As Dad who has carried kids often the ratio isn't double for a small child. Even my wife would be able to travel at least 100 paces or more if she carried our 7 year old.

I don't know. I don't think anyone tested that hair. I thought Det. T would claify this but he didn't.

Again, I can't believe they didn't bother to test the blonde hairs. (Like so many other things they didn't test. Like the hair under her armpit.)

The prosecution witness clearly stated the time interval as being 4 to 6 weeks

I agree with that but he never mentioned coordinating that with any other data that had to do with her disapearance.

There only argument is whether its blood or not ?

No, the defense even referred to the spots as blood when doing questioning! It is the brainstorm of some posters here who concocted the "it isn't blood" theory. In fact, I was told Feldman would be calling an expert to prove this, but alas, the defense rested without doing so.

Could be. We each have our own way of looking at it.

If it were your MH and the hair, print,DNA spots were found, and the DOG didn't hit on your MH, how would you want US to see it ?

I said I wasn't sure how much a living body @ 60 lbs. would weigh @ dead weight. I'm sure it would be more than say, a sleeping child (who would be alive.) My kids always weighed the same, asleep or awake.

You are good, thanks. Did they say where the blood was on the jacket ? Any explanation as to why Westerfield had blood ? Did he have an injury ?

Do you know the significance of the grease implied by Det. T? What would cause the greasy area? Are dead bodies greasy?

I think I would wrap it in something and carry it. I would want to be sure as much of it as possible was as far away as possible. Dragging a body that was falling apart wouldn't do that.

My guess is the fluids from inside the body. Plasma, fluids from colon, or stomach. Maybe some of the fatty areas under the skin.

A nurse or Doc would probably know more than I would about that.

The 4th contact on jacket starts putting the alternate possibilities in the miracle category.

Also, it is not know where the jacket was normally kept. A few days (2-4 days) before she was abducted she, her mother and brother were in the neighborhood selling girl scout cookies. They were in Westerfield's home and the kids were allowed to go look at the pool for a few minutes. Some theorize that if the jacket was draped over the back of a chair or otherwise available, the blood stain could have happened then. This cookie-selling visit is also supposed to explain any fiber and hair evidence in his house/laundry and on her body.

Alternate theory on jacket is it was kept in the MH and the stain was deposited at the same time the other stuff was.

Why didn't someone clarify this? I'm sure the jury would like to know about this *grease* as well.
