Each family member out on 10 million dollars bond each. They lose all of their homes and had to surrender 5,000 acres of land they own surrounding the Adelphia HQ, as well as surrender all passports and travel documents....aka..they should be put on suicide watch.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Titans' proposed new name for its home stadium, the Adelphia Coliseum, may not score any points for creativity.

Keeping it simple, the NFL franchise has decided to call it "the Coliseum" — at least for now.

The change will occur after a judge gives final approval to ending the team's sponsorship by bankrupt Adelphia Business Solutions Inc.

"It's just cleaner, and people are used to calling it as some version of 'coliseum,'" Titans spokesman Robbie Bohren said.

When the stadium opened in 1999, Adelphia — a telecommunications company based in Coudersport, Pa. — agreed to pay $30 million over 15 years for naming rights. The city of Nashville owns the stadium, but the Titans control the naming rights and receive all profits derived from selling them.

The name was put in jeopardy when Adelphia missed a scheduled $500,000 partnership payment in May, two months after filing for federal bankruptcy protection. <P. The removal of the Adelphia name won't occur until other creditors in the bankruptcy case agree, Bohren said. The team has held off negotiations with other potential sponsors while awaiting the final settlement.

Best way for GWBush to BOOST Republican election chances is to cuff and jail a lot more of the corporate theives and scum. Rudolf Guliani style. Get a conga line going of handcuffed, disgraced business biggies.

Cuff 'em and haul them into the courtroom.... Do it for the next 7 days and watch the market go up each day. Was good for 488 points today!

"And so the Pitt bull begans biting back."

Political pressure will demand lots of prosecutions, but the real test will be in the sentencing, and the seizures of property under the RICO statutes.

"Prosecutions", per sey, have little meaning.

You're right... I saw it reported on FNC one day that the average cost of a new engagement ring today is around $10,000. And here I thought I was getting a good deal when my husband gave me a carot which cost 3,100...
