Free trade was one of those essentials that the "Two-Party Cartel" candidates must subscribe to. As far as what the (90%) sheeple know about a candidate is from the fraudulant news media. But be assured that the candidate will be liberal, will follow mostly the Communist Manifesto, not necesary by leading but by following & will be compromised. Reagan was a loose cannon for these elites. They didn't own him. That is why he is so vilified. Same goes for Buchanan or Nader or Harry, the libertiaran guy.

I should have been more clear -- my point was not so much that people were ignorant about each candidate's views on free trade (though they probably were), but that "free trade" probably ranks about #272 on a typical voter's list of important issues. Somewhere between "subsidies for poison ivy farmers" and "financial aid for immigrants from Estonia attending needlework classes in the U.S."
