I nominate the dummy that kept Tom Hanks company in that film ‘Cast Away”. Wish I had a photo.

Aw, come on...

CBS isn't trying hard enough to get with the program!

Aren't there any DNC insiders who are available to take on another daily 2-hour propaganda slot? With Stephanopoulis at ABC and Begala/Carville on CNN, CBS is falling way behind.

Any nominations for this juicy PR job?

I'm sure the insane asylums are chock full of worthy replacements, though Gumball is a tough act to follow.

"The worst thing you can do is make a move that tells the audience you don't know what you're doing," he said.

They passed that road a long time ago, when they hired Gumball.

I nominate "Wilson" from Cast Away...it (he) would
be more exciting than anyone else and a whole
lot less bias....

Well, since MSNBC saw fit to employ a has-been leftist talk show host, I nominate someone who comes in a close second, on the idiot scale; SALLY JESSY RAPHAEL.

For insiders, what's Dee Dee Myers doing these days? How about Ann Lewis (a double-whammy -- former communications head for Clinton AND sister of a congressman)?

Janet "Light My Fire"Reno demonstrated her social skills just this weekend. She will be needing a job after getting trounced in the fla primary. She probably has files on everybody already to help with her interviews.

Actually, Dee Dee is on the staff of The West Wing at NBC, so she could get double-network exposure, subliminally shaping the minds of NBC viewers while explicitly shaping them at CBS.

I don't think Reich will be doing anything next year. Maybe a TV anchor job will increase his stature.

What's Cohen doing these days? He was the only "Republican" in the Clinton administration, right? CBS could exploit that to say that they're fair and balanced all rolled up in one person!

Darn it, I wish someone would tell us these things. I didn't know Gumbel was gone! That is the down side of refusing to watch the s**mbag weasels, the leftist exteimists, low IQ liberals, you simply don't know when they're gone. How about Rather, Rivero, Begala, Maher, the fat black woman with the short haircut, Gordon and Clift? Are they still on? Hell, are they still alive? Old Gumbel is gone, eh? What do you know?
